Last Word For Today
The best news of the day (and the result of prayers) was that Steph and Christian are no longer consider trauma patients, just burn patients. There was some worry about internal damage, but Doc Mario (Lucy and I decided to give him that nickname, because he looks like the more famous brother of Luigi, thanks Nintendo) told us that they have been cleared.
This is great news. Now we can focus on getting them thick skins.
Please tell me that my joke was funny (see above: thick skins). I need to know that my keen sense of humor and unfailing wit is still intact.
Mostly because a woman asked me tonight if I were Stephanie's mother. HER MOTHER. Are four year olds having babies these days? Cause that is how old I'd have to be.
