On Why I am Proud to be an American

In February I wrote this positive affirmation about my terribly botched haircut:

And in July this haircut is going to turn heads at the Fourth of July parade. Turn heads, I tell you. Mayor Lewis is gonna be jealous.

Here it is the 4th of July and as you can see for yourself, my hair has recovered (somewhat.)

Hair that grows out in several months after a disaster?
