Apron Week Day Five: The Finale!

Thanks Nie for the photo

Here it is the Apron Week Finale. I thought I might kick it off with the man whose DNA I share. I present my father, The State Legislator. He served his mission (for our church) in the land of his ancestors Norway. Consequently, we grew up with many Norwegian customs in our home. One culinary tradition was Dad's "Norwegian Grunt", a hot pot of cooked wheat on cold mornings. The Grunt would stick to your ribs so that you didn't need to eat until the next winter.

When I turned 16 Dad took me to Norway to try the real deal. As it turns out, his was better.

I am posting an apron picture and story every half hour for The Apron Week Finale.
Come back and visit throughout the day to meet
more c jane readers!
