2006: A Pretty Good Year

In January we babysit for the Checketts. My Lego obsession begins.
In February I make deep and everlasting changes to my blog.In March Kentucky condones buying cake on the Sabbath. Two of us turn 29.
In April the Viral Shirt phenomena begins.
In May I get cooking lessons from the world-renown Azucar de la Haciendas
In June I wander aimlessly around Europe with a charming fourteen year old chasing the Di Vinci Code.
In July I complete my fourth year of marriage to Bob the Chup Builder.
In August the Super Cell Storm of 2006 causes me to go dark and wear mu-mus.
In September I quit my job and take up full-time hiding.
In October I paid homage to my favorite Target T.
In November not much happens, but I decide that I like gifts under $20. Someone special sends me a gift certificate to Target in the mail. I love that person.
In December I get a Ute mug from a white elephant party and find out that my brother Andrew and wife Megan are expecting numero quatro. This gives big meaning to me. According to their will, if anything should happen to them, Chup and I would resume parenting their children. So, in around about way (you take what you can get) I am somewhat going to be a mother again. Congratulations all around!
Heavens! Heavens!
What will happen in two-thousand seven(s)?
