If you follow me on facebook or twitter, you probably noticed that I linked to an event I am hosting this Saturday with the Mormon Women Project. It's an evening of enlightenment with some of our religions brightest scholars--Camille Fronk Olsen, Ann Madsen and Heather Farrell--discussing "Our Relationship With Women in the Scriptures."
I was just notified that there are only a few spots left and I wanted to make sure my blog friends were aware of this event. If you live in the surrounding area, you'll want to come for sure.
Here's the eventbrite with more info.

Wish I could come! I used to work for Ann Madsen. She's amazing.
I wish it were a podcast so I could listen, since I can't be there.
Only if you do my hair and nails. I wouldn't trust anyone else.
Ah, that sounds like an AWESOME gathering! Wish I could hop the pond to come! Will transcripts or a recording be available online??? Have a great time!
This sounds so amazing! I noticed that you are sold out though, can you email me if something comes up and someone can't make it? My friend and I would love to go!

A Molly Mormon meeting?
What are you going to talk about? The big joys of motherhood?
Sounds freaking boring to me.
My oldest already is always asking me how come Esther is the only gal she gets to hear about. So this would have been good for me to go to....Because I need to teach them better about women in the scriptures, they are there! Anyway....maybe they will put up resources or summaries online after? I will have to check back and see.
Wish I could be there! Good luck!
I'm sad you are sold out. I would have loved to come. Are you going to do something like this again soon...or not so soon?
I love, love the Madsens so much. I so wish I could be there. It will be amazing I am sure.
respectfully wondering if you have been reading about "your candidate's" platform in terms of the civil rights of gay americans and women? soooooooo backward, so un-godly. i'm sad for you.
I read this blog for some inspiring, lovely writing. I read the comment section of this blog for some eye-rolling ridiculous comedy.
I love your brain, your words, and your sarcasm. Thanks for writing.
