I couldn't stop crying...the Nielsons are strangers to us, but we have prayed for them for months as a family and community here in Seattle. What a beautiful video.

I feel like our thanks goes to you, because through this tragedy, our lives have changed, hearts softened (my husband is a non-member...this story has brought a miracle) and a testimony of the power of prayer.

We'll continue to pray...What a wonderful thoughtful video. We all have so much to be grateful for this holiday season. So good to see Mr.Nielson doing well and looking good. What a great man with an amazing family.

When we donate and keep you all in our prayers we do it out of the goodness of our hearts and with the utmost humility. I have never met your family and maybe one day we will meet. But this act has restored my faith in humanity. And although we all come from different backgrounds, religions, and countries. We came together to heal and to be uplifted everyday! through your words and NieNie's.
The video was undoubtedly the best thing ever. Thank YOU! for allowing us into your lives.
Because of you I am a better person.

WOW! I have been a Nie reader for about a year now, and have to say that this has had a profound impact on my life. I have been encouraged to live each day more fully and find myself thinking of the Nielson Family several times during the day - praying for their recovery and continued strength. How grateful I am for the Gospel and for the power of prayer and fasting. Thank you for posting such a touching video. I hope they can remember how much they are loved in the hard months ahead.

I am overwhelmed. The thanks again goes back to all of your family. For your example of enduring love, faith, and happiness. I started reading stephanie's blog just a few weeks before the accident and was attached so quickly to the joy and love it shared. Endless prayers will continue to be said in your behalf. You are all truly inspiring. Thank you, Mr. Nielson for posting this video. Have a wonderful thanksgiving.

Christian - if only our prayers could take away the pain and suffering of loss and injury and bring you back to that day before the accident with enlightenment to the future.

I have faith that God has so much more in his plans for you and Stephanie - and for that I continue to pray to Him that healing will continue to come quickly so you can both return to your beautiful family.

Courtney - God Bless you. There are so many times I have wanted to praise you, but the words could not come out the way I wanted them to. You have made your sisters life stay in the forefront of our thoughts and prayers because you believed in the good of God and his people. YOU have made much of this happen.

I am not a frequent commenter - not because I didn't have anything to say, but more because I spent my time reading and praying. I know you felt those prayers, just as you have felt everyone elses!

I wish you all a very Happy and Thankful Thanksgiving. You have a lot to share praise for, and know that I will continue to pray for you all!

Thank you all for sharing your story!

How getting involved in someone elses tragedy is not a burden but a blessing. How just a little help goes a long way. I am thankful for all of you!!! Even though we have never met, this was an opportunity for God to teach me that you can love people you have never met. At the end of the day that is what it is all about...LOVE!

Thank you for your video so that those of us who have been following your story can see how much progress has been made and how well you are doing.
I also thank you for one of my favorite hymns playing in the background. It sent me to iTunes where I believe I found it. I assume it's by the Morman Tabernacle choir? My church choir will be doing our own rendition of this tonight, perhaps not quite as beautiful, but still fine in it's own way. I'll give thanks for your recovery as we sing it, and lift up prayers for more healing for the lovely NieNie I've come to know through the past months.

The video is so lovely and touching. I have to wonder though, will you (Christian)and Stephanie and Courtney..(and the whole family) ever understand how much you have given?

For those of us (like me) who quietly peek into your lives through these blogs, I have been given the chance to see strength and courage, like I have never witnessed before.

To have gone through so much, and to still be filled with so much faith and hope, you are all inspirations. For Christian & Stephanie and their fight to recover, and Courtney & Lucy and their families who are taking care of the children. You are all so amazing.
I only hope you keep being told that, over and over. Thank you again for sharing your courageous stories. My prayers are with you and your families.

The video was an amazing gift. Thank you.

Know this...you and your family (particularly Stephanie...I've followed her blog for some time) have had a tremendous impact on my life. I was not a person of faith (since childhood) before having my little girl 11 months ago.

She went through a horrific battle with Bacterial Meningitis (we almost lost her a number of times) and has come through with some potentially seriously long-term issues. I started praying when she was ill, but reading Stephanie's blog has taught me so much about being a faithful parent and woman. Your family has brought me back to God. My little Katie will now also grow up knowing God. Thank you for touching our lives.

My dear sweet cJane... wow. Way to treat us to something we've been so desperate to not only see for ourselves, but to drive us to tears of joy. The Nielsons have changed the way I live my life. I don't mean that lightly. They are true inspirations and have made me a better mother, wife, and woman. To hear the words right from Mr. Nielson, wow...it has moved me to absolute tears on this Thanksgiving Eve. We all have much to be thankful for, but unlike previous years, this year I have absolute strangers to be thankful for. In a year that has brought my family much strife, the Nielsons have been the inspiration I need to be better from the ground up. The fundamentals of my life have changed BECAUSE OF THEM. So to all of you...Christian, Nie, Courtney, Lizzy, Lucy, Page...and and all of the Clarks and Nielsons I am missing...thank YOU for allowing us into your lives. To learn from you. To pray for you.

Much love this holiday season...

I am crying now! Your family is a stranger to me, but when I stumbled on your sister's blog just a few days after the accident I have checked in on your blog everyday. I just had to have my NieNie and C Jane fix. You have an extrordinary family. You are truly a special person. Seeing Mr. Nielson in that video is nothing short of a miracle. What a mighty God we have.
I am wearing my Love of Nie tshirt today. I will continue to pray for you all especially Stephanie as she continues to heal.
I want to thank you for sharing your family with us. I have learned so many lessons from your family. I have been forever changed by your family's journey.
I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!

You and your family have been in my prayers...I only hope that if my sister ever needed me I could do as good of a job as you have!

Oh Wow. . .I'm in tears and I don't even know you. Well actually I may know you a few times removed because my cousin-in-law's cousin taught the 108 sun salutations for Stephanie at Inside the Bungalow. Did you follow that? You all are such an inspiration to so many people. I find myself thinking of Stephanie and your family as I lay in savasana during yoga and remembering Nie's words and Courtney's words. I find myself living life in a more meaningful and intentional way because of all of you. Truly so much positive has come from such a tragedy. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. . .thank you for opening your hearts and blogs to strangers like me who have been deeply moved because of all of you.
